I originally became interested in Mr. Westerdal's book because I wrote Solo Martial Arts Drills and How to Exercise Throughout Your Day. As both a family man and martial arts instructor, I am fully aware of the effects of time constraints.

What I was expecting when I read Mike's book was aerobic type routines with dumbbells in your hands. What I got when I read Mike's book was lots of actual strength training routines that could be done right here in my home. In order to give a complete workout, Mike has bonus sections for flexibility and Swiss Ball routines.

What really impressed me was not the abundant pictures and excellent descriptions of routines for both men and women, it was the use of links to online video demonstrating the exercises. Thus demonstrating the entire range of motion of the exercise.

When I was in college studying physical education, a contractor told me how he made money with health clubs.

'Start a new health club. Build up the membership then sell it.'

By all means join a health club if you like, but if you're a person with time constraints as many people are nowadays, be prepared to enjoy fitness workouts at home - and use Mike Westerdal's Dumbbell Routines printable ebook with video clips as your guide.
